The Crop Rotation tab shows all the crops that were planted in your fields during each of the growing seasons in your FarmQA account. This feature can be used to help you avoid disease and pest pressure by identifying fields that have been planted in the same crop multiple years in a row during the crop planning phase. Check out the article below to learn more about the Crop Rotation tab's functionality.

How to use the Crop Rotations tab to help with crop planning
Navigating the Crop Rotation tab
- Log in to your FarmQA account from your web browser.
- Click on the Fields icon, then navigate to the Crop Rotation tab.
- Information in the Crop Rotation tab is sorted by the following columns:
- Organization: contains the branch of your enterprise that each field is in.
- Field: contains the name/ID of each field.
- Area: contains the total area of each field.
- Growing Season: columns for each growing season in your account will populate with the name of the crop that was planted in each field in that year. The color assigned to each crop will appear to the left of its name.
-
- NOTE: all columns can be sorted by clicking the column header. Columns can be sorted in Ascending or Descending order.
- How you view your Crop Rotation page can also be adjusted by using either of the toggle options in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Toggling the Show crop colors switch lets you show the colors assigned to your crops or not (pictured below).
-
- The Show varieties option allows for the crop variety assigned to each field to be displayed instead of the crop. If no variety was assigned and you toggle Show varieties on, just the crop name will be displayed.
