Using FarmQA's dashboard

Accessing the dashboard for the first time

Accessible from the: Web App

User permissions: All Users

• Click on the Home page, then click on the Dashboard tab (pictured below). 

• By default, you will see the following tiles on your dashboard (pictured below):
  1. Current weather conditions for your weather stations.
  2. Daily forecast for your weather stations.
  3. Crop acreage and Variety acreage for these fields. 
  4. Access to FarmQA's chatbot.
  5. Field journal for these fields in the current growing season. 

Add a panel to your dashboard

Accessible from the: Web App

User permissions: Enterprise Administrator, Agronomist

• Click on the Home page, then click on the Dashboard tab. 
• Click on the Add a new panel button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen (pictured below). 

• Use the dropdown in the Add a new panel menu to add in the following metrics in these categories: 
  • Journal
  • Weather
    • Hourly forecast
    • Daily forecast
    • Current conditions
  • Satellite imagery
  • Work
    • All data
    • Completed work
    • Current work
  • Crop allocation
    • Variety acreage
    • Crop acreage
    • Variety fields
    • Crop fields
  • Chat
  • Users are also able to add panels for their Metrics and Metrics statistics. Panels created for Metrics will show metrics visualizations for those datasets, while panels created for Metric statistics will show an average of your values for the chosen metric over your desired timeframe. 

Editing your dashboard

Accessible from the: Web App

User permissions: Enterprise Administrator, Agronomist

• Click on the Home page, then click on the Dashboard tab. 
• Click on the Edit icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. 
• Edit your dashboard in the following ways:
  • Move your panels around your dashboard.
  • Resize your tiles. 
  • Delete one of your panels by clicking the More actions ... button in the upper right-hand corner of one of your panels, then click on the Remove panel button. 
  • For your Metrics statistics panels, you can Set days to include for your statistic. For example, if you want to include the last two weeks of data in this panel, enter in 14 days. 
• When you've completed making changes to your dashboard, click the Save  button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
