Uploading a planting map to a field
Available from the: WEB APP
Permissions: ENTERPRISE ADMINISTRATOR, AGRONOMIST, TECHNICIAN+
- In the Home
page, click on the field you want to add a planting map to.
- In the slide-out map pane, click on the
Add layer button under the LAYERS header (pictured below).
- Select the layer you want to add this map to, then click on the
Import point data as image button at the bottom of the screen (pictured below).
- Select the file you want to upload, then fill out the following information (pictured below):
- Select the Attribute you want to use to color your planting map.
- Set the Color ramp used to color your map.
- Toggle off the
Automatic range switch to set the maximum and minimum values you'll use to color your map.
- Click the Preview button to see what your map will look like
- After you've previewed your map, click the Save button to save your planting map.
Viewing a planting map for a field from the web app
Available from the: WEB APP
Permissions: ENTERPRISE ADMIN, AGRONOMIST, TECHNICIAN+, TECHNICIAN, SOIL SAMPLER, OPERATOR
- In the Home
page, click on the field that has the planting map you want to view.
- In the slide-out map pane, click on the map layer that contains your planting data under the LAYERS header.
- Your planting map will be displayed on top of the field you've selected.
Viewing a planting map for a field from the mobile app
Available from the: WEB APP
Permissions: ENTERPRISE ADMIN, AGRONOMIST, TECHNICIAN+, TECHNICIAN, SOIL SAMPLER, OPERATOR
- Before going to your fields, click on the Settings
icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. From there, click on Layer sync preferences and make sure that you've selected the map layer that contains your planting map for syncing to your device.
- Once your map layer has been synced, go to the Fields
page and click on the field you want to view a planting map for.
- Click on the Layers
button on the right-hand side of the screen, then select the layer that contains your planting map.
- Your planting map will be displayed on top of the field you've selected.
