The fields in your FarmQA mobile app can be colored by the crop variety assigned to your field instead of the crop itself. You're also able to color your fields by the status of the tasks associated with it to easily create a plan for getting your tasks done efficiently. Check out the article below to learn about how to color your fields in FarmQA by either crop variety or task type/status.
Color by crop variety
- Log in to your FarmQA account from the mobile app.
- Click on the slide-out map pane and click on the Varieties button under the Field color header. The fields displayed in your FarmQA mobile app will now color fields by crop variety instead of master crop (pictured below).
Color by task
- Log in to your FarmQA account from the mobile app.
- Click on the slide-out map pane and click on the Task button under the Field color header (pictured below).
- Use the Task type menu to select which task type you want to color your field(s) by (pictured below).
-
Use the Task condition menu to select the task status type(s) to color your fields by. Here's what each task status means. The default color that will be used to color your field(s) is shown next to each task status:
- No tasks: there are no tasks associated to that field.
- Pending: there are tasks associated to that field with a start date in the near future.
- Ready: there are tasks associated to that field that are past their start date.
- In progress: there are tasks associated to that field that have been started but they are not finished.
