Import your lab's CSV file into FarmQA using a saved import profile. You can upload results across multiple fields at once, or upload to a single field if you only have a few fields to update.
Before you start, make sure you have an import profile set up for your lab's file format. See Create a soil sample import profile.
Upload results across multiple fields
- Select the Soil icon, then select the Samples tab.
- Select the Upload soil data button, then select the import profile you want to use from the dropdown.
- In the Upload soil samples window, set the following:
- Top enterprise — the enterprise to import into
- Growing season — the season to associate the results with
- Marker type — defaults to Soil sample
- Sample date — the date to associate with the results. If your import profile includes a sample date column, that date is used instead.
- Drag your CSV file into the upload area or select it from your computer. You can upload up to 20 files at a time.
Upload results for a single field
Use this path when you only need to update a few fields and want to skip mapping the full grower and field tree.
- Select the Soil icon, then select the Samples tab.
- Select the field you want to upload results for.
- Select Upload soil data, then select Using current field.
- Complete the same steps as above, starting at step 3.
