You can record planting and harvest events for any field directly from the FarmQA web app — from either the home view or the field list. Once recorded, planting and harvest dates appear on scouting reports and can be filtered in the field list to see the order fields were planted or harvested.
When recording a planting event, you can also capture optional seed details — including seed weight, rate, lot number, and certification number — which appear in the Field Journal and carry through to the Field Journal PDF.

To update an existing date, select the field and enter a new date using the same dialog.
Add seed details (optional)
After selecting a planting date, expand Optional seed information to record what was planted. The same fields are available as in the home view — weight (with unit), rate, lot number, and certification number.
Select Assign to save. Seed details appear in the Field Journal and in the Field Journal PDF when present.
Note: If you have a perennial crop, see Perennial crops in FarmQA for details on how planting events work. If a field has multiple harvest dates, the field list shows the most recent one.
