Accessing and viewing your submitted scouting reports

Whether you're accessing FarmQA from the web or mobile app, you have access to the scouting reports that have been submitted in your account. Within each app, there are multiple ways to find and sort your scouting reports. Check out this article to learn more about how to find your scouting reports in the FarmQA web and mobile apps.

Mobile app: accessing reports for an individual field

• Log in to your FarmQA account from the mobile app. 
• Click on an individual field from either the map or list view.
• Next click on the previous reports number in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen (pictured below). 

• Specific reports can be found by using the Search bar at the top of the screen. Otherwise, groups of reports can be found by using the Filter option found at the top center part of the screen (pictured below).  

• Finally select the filter option you prefer: 
  • All during this growing season: returns all scouting reports that were filled out for the selected field within the the current growing season.
  • My reports during this growing season: will only return reports that were submitted by your account within the current growing season. 
• Selecting a filter option will automatically apply the filter to the list of scouting reports. A green checkmark will appear next to the option that is currently selected. 

Mobile app: accessing reports from the Scouting tab

• Log in to your FarmQA account from the mobile app if you aren't already.
• Click on the Scouting icon at the bottom of the screen (pictured below).

• Previous reports can be searched out using the Search bar located at the top of the screen. To filter previously submitted reports, scroll down to the Past reports section and click on the Filter button at the top center of the screen (pictured below). 

• Select your preferred filter option:
  • My reports in the last 6 months
  • All reports submitted in the last 7 days
  • All reports submitted in the last 30 days
  • All reports in growing season
• You can customize the amount of time you want to have reports loaded over. To do so, click the Edit icon next to the All reports submitted in the last 7 days option. You'll be able to set the number of days you want to submitted reports loaded over on the next page (pictured below). 

• Press the green Filter button at the bottom of the screen to apply your desired filter. 

Web app: access a report from the Scouting tab

• Log in to your FarmQA account from the web app.
• Click on the Scouting icon on the left-hand side of the screen.
• Locate the report you want to view by using the following sort/filter methods (pictured below):
  1. Filter by grower: access the grower/farm/field drop down tree in the top left-hand corner by clicking on the grower/farm/field name that is displayed.
  2. Search: use the search box in the top right-hand corner of the screen where you can search for reports by field names or by scout.
  3. Time filter: access the time filter drop down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to set a time frame for accessing scouting reports.

• Once you have located the report you are looking for, click the blue link on the date to open the report.
• Once open, you will have the following functionality within your report: 
  1. 1. Interactive Map: On the right-hand side of the screen, you can find an interactive map of the field your scouting report was filled out for. The size of this map can be adjusted by clicking and dragging the Ellipse at the bottom or left of the map. If observations were made in different parts of the field, they will be labeled throughout the report. You can zoom in on the report and click on pins to highlight data from that area.
     2. Attachments: Pictures and map notations within reports can be viewed by clicking on the paperclip icon next to the metric they are associated with (see below). Each picture can be clicked on to be viewed full screen.
     3. Action Pane: Buttons in the upper-left hand side of the screen have the following functionality (listed from left to right): 
        • Easily toggle between reports with the up/down arrows.
          • NOTE: Your previously set filters on the list view will persist as you toggle (example, you will just see reports for "field A" if that is what you searched for)
        • Delete the entire report by clicking on the red trashcan button.
          • NOTE: only admins will have access to this functionality. 
        • Edit the scouting report by clicking on the pencil icon. See this article for more details
        • Add a recommendation to the scouting report. See this article for more details
        • Export a scouting report. See this article for more details

Web app: access a scouting report from the Map view

• Log in to your FarmQA account from the web app if you aren't already.
• Click on the Map icon on the left-hand side of the screen. Next click the map options slide out pane, then check the box next to Scouting reports. You can now see previous scouting reports appear within fields. 

• Navigate to the field you wish to view the scouting report for and click on the report. You will now be able to see a summary of the report as pictured below. To view the complete report, click on the field name.

NOTE: If you are not able to find the report you are looking for make sure to check the TIME SLIDER BAR in the bottom right-hand corner of the map. This can be found next to the LEGEND menu. The date range needs to include the date the scouting report was submitted (pictured below).
