Chemical compliance checking and harvest review are available to selected accounts. If you don't see these features, contact your FarmQA representative.
FarmQA validates required data before allowing compliance checks and field submissions. This article lists what data must be present at each level — field, application record, and crop year — and what happens when something is missing.
Application record required fields
Every application record must have the following fields populated before it can be saved:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Applicator license number | Must match a valid license in FarmQA |
| Weather information | Temperature, wind speed, wind direction at time of application |
| Temperature at time of application | Required separately from general weather information |
If any of these fields is missing, the record can't be saved. A validation message identifies what's missing.
Activity data
Irrigation records and field activities required for compliance must be tied to the correct field and crop year. If required activity data is missing, compliance submission is blocked until the data is added.
What happens when required data is missing
- At save time on an application record: the system shows a validation error and the record can't be saved until the missing fields are filled in.
- At compliance check time: the check can't run on a field with missing required data. The system identifies what's incomplete.
- At field submission time: a grower can't submit a field if required data is absent.
