Chemical compliance checking and harvest review are available to selected accounts. If you don't see these features, contact your FarmQA representative.

Run a compliance check on a field

Run a compliance check to validate a field's application records against chemical compliance requirements. The result tells you whether the field's records are compliant or whether there are violations — and if there are, what failed and why.

You can check one field at a time or run checks on multiple fields at once.

Run a check on one field

1. Open the Fields list and select the field you want to check.
2. Select Run compliance check.
3. Wait for the result. The check submits the field's data to ExtendAg and returns a result — this typically takes a few seconds.

The field's compliance state updates to Compliant or Non-compliant based on the result.

Run checks on multiple fields

1. In the Fields list, select the checkboxes for the fields you want to check.
2. Select Run compliance check from the bulk action menu.
3. Wait for the results. Each field updates individually as its result comes back.

Review non-compliant fields

When a field shows Non-compliant:

1. Select the field to open it.
2. Select the compliance status indicator to see the failure detail.

The detail shows which product failed, the reason for the failure, and the relevant date. This information comes from ExtendAg's response.

To resolve the issue, correct the relevant application record and run the check again.

Find growers who haven't updated records

A filtered view lets you see which growers haven't added or updated records for the current period — useful for the monthly check-in cadence before running compliance checks.

1. In the Fields list, select Filter.
2. Filter by Last record update and set the date range for the current period.

Fields where the grower hasn't entered records for the period will appear at the top of the filtered list.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Why does my field still show non-compliant after I corrected the record?
A: Compliance state only updates when you run a new check. Correcting a record doesn't automatically re-run the check — select Run compliance check again after making corrections.

Q: Can the compliance check result change the field's submission or approval status?
A: No. Compliance state is informational. Only a field rep can approve, return, or reject a field. The check result informs that decision but doesn't trigger any automatic action.

Q: What happens if the check returns an error?
A: An error means the check couldn't complete — usually a connection issue with ExtendAg. The field's previous compliance state (if any) stays in place. Try running the check again once the issue resolves.
