Drive a field boundary

Record a field's boundary by driving its edge with the mobile app — your GPS position traces the shape as you go. You can drive a field in one pass, add more pieces, or drive a hole, and you can set a GPS offset so the boundary lands where the field edge is rather than where your vehicle is.

Driving works offline too. The only difference is that base-map imagery doesn't show while you record.

Start a new field

1. On the Fields tab, select Add in the lower-right corner.
2. Select New field.
3. Select Drive.

Set a GPS offset

Optional. Do this before you start recording.

1. Select Options.
2. Use the slider to set the offset. The Options drawer shows the total offset and which direction it's applied.
3. Select Exit at the top of the drawer.

Record the boundary

1. Drive to your starting point.
2. Select Record.
3. Drive the edge of the field. A blue dashed line shows the boundary as you record it.
4. Select Pause when you're done.
5. If the boundary looks right, select the Check button at the bottom of the screen.

Add another piece or a hole

Do this after you select Check and before you save the field.

1. Drive to where the next piece or the hole begins.
2. Select Drive, then Record.
3. Drive its edge, then select Pause.

Repeat for each additional piece or hole.

Save the field

1. Open the Add field menu at the bottom of the screen.
2. Enter the Field name and Crop.
3. Select Add field. The field is added to your account.
