Export recommendations – FarmQA Support

Get recommendations off the screen and into a grower's or applicator's hands. Download one or many as a PDF, export them to Excel, email a PDF from FarmQA, or export the whole Recommendations list as a spreadsheet.

Export selected recommendations

Select Advice, then select the Recommendations tab.
Check each recommendation you want.
Select Export.
To change how the file looks, open the options beside PDF or Excel (see below).
Select Download beside the format you want.

A single PDF holds up to 40 recommendations.

PDF options

Hide per-field totals: leave out each field's product totals.
Show prices: show unit prices and totals.
Suppress page breaks: run recommendations one after another instead of starting each on a new page.
Product totals: put the combined totals at the start or end of the report, or leave them out.
Header options and Field header style: choose how much field detail prints in each header: Full detail, Full detail with shape, or Field name only.
Orientation and Page size: portrait or landscape, and Letter (the default), Legal, Tabloid, Ledger, or an A or B size.

Excel options

Include product totals: add the total of each product per recommendation.
Show prices: add unit prices and totals.

Email recommendations

On the Recommendations tab, check the recommendations you want to send.
Select Share, enter the recipient, and send.

The recipient gets a link to download the PDF.

Export the Recommendations list to Excel

To export the list itself, with its columns, rather than the recommendation documents:

On the Recommendations tab, set up the list the way you want it:
- Select a column header to sort by it. Select it again to reverse the order.
- Select the filter icon in a column header to show only rows that start with, end with, contain, equal, or don't equal a value.
- Use Columns to choose which columns show.
Select Excel.

The spreadsheet matches what's on screen.

Open a recommendation as a PDF on mobile

Select Advice.
Under past recommendations, select the recommendation.
Choose a PDF layout, then select Open PDF.

The PDF opens in your phone's browser, with product totals based on the field acres.
