Recommendations are how you tell a grower or applicator what to put on a field, at what rate, and when. You set up your products and mixes once, write recommendations from the web or the field, and record what was actually applied when the work is done. This article is the map. Each step links to its own guide.
You don't have to set up everything first. Add the products you use most, and build mixes as you find yourself repeating them.
Set up your inputs
- Adding products to your account: add products by hand, from the EPA database, or from a spreadsheet. Enterprise Administrator or Agronomist.
- Creating chemical mixes: save tank mixes you use often so you can add them to a recommendation in one step.
- Setting prices for your chemical products: show costs on recommendations.
- Adding chemical product application disclaimers to your recommendations: print your standard disclaimer on every recommendation.
Write and manage recommendations
- Manage recommendations [LINK-1]: write a recommendation on the web or in the mobile app, then edit or delete it.
- Partial field Recommendations (for spot spraying): recommend for part of a field.
- Publishing Reports and Recommendations to QA Farmer: send recommendations to growers in QA Farmer by FarmQA.
Record what was applied
- Manage application records: create application records from a recommendation when the work is done.
- Viewing weather information on a completed recommendation: check the conditions at the time of application.
Share and export
- Export recommendations [LINK-2]: download recommendations as a PDF or Excel file, or email them.
- Generating combined scouting reports and recommendations: send the scouting report and its recommendation together.
