If a scouting report was created under the wrong growing season, you can correct it from the scouting report grid without contacting support. The action works for one report or many — select the records you want to fix, choose the target season, and confirm.
This action is available on web only.
Select the reports to update
Permissions: Enterprise Administrator
- Open the Scouting tab. The Reports tab is selected by default.
- Check the box next to each report whose growing season needs to change. You can select one or more.
- Select Change growing season at the top of the grid.
Choose the target season and confirm
- In the Change growing season dialog, select a year from the Target growing season list.
- Select Save.
The change applies to all selected reports immediately.
Limitations
The Change growing season button is disabled when no other active growing seasons are available for the selected report.
Ad hoc scouting reports can't have their growing season changed. If any selected report is an ad hoc report, you'll see a message indicating this. Deselect the ad hoc report and try again.
If you select multiple reports and there's no growing season available across all of them — for example, because the other seasons are archived — you'll see the message: "The selected reports don't share a permitted target growing season." Adjust your selection and try again.
