Collect soil samples

If your organization uses sampling tasks, see Collect soil samples using a task instead.

1. Select the Fields tab and select the field you want to collect samples for.
2. Select anywhere on the field, then select Collect soil samples.
3. If you have existing soil sample markers you want to sample against, select the Layers button and turn on your soil sample marker layer.
4. Select the location on the map where you're collecting a sample. FarmQA opens the camera to scan the barcode on your sample bag. To type the marker ID instead, select Enter barcode. Select OK when done.

5. Select the + button to collect additional samples in the field.
6. When you've collected all your samples, select the checkmark to complete sampling.
