Your role decides what you can do in FarmQA. This article shows it two ways. The first set of tables lists common tasks and which roles can do them. The second part lists each permission exactly as it appears in the Permission summary in the web application, with the level each role gets.

What each permission means
When you select a person on an organization's Security tab, the Permission summary lists each permission their role has, with a level:

A permission a role doesn't have is left out of the Permission summary.
What each permission covers

| Applicator | Add applicators and edit their license number, license authority, linked user, and the organizations they can record applications in. |

| Field | Add field boundaries by drawing or uploading them, edit boundaries, and change field details such as the crop. |

| Field plan | Create plans for an organization and its fields from a crop plan template, and work through their steps. |
