Merge two fields

Combine two fields into one when they're now farmed as a single field. FarmQA has no merge button, so you do it in two steps: delete one of the fields, then expand the other to cover both areas.

Deleting a field also deletes what's recorded against it, including scouting reports, recommendations, and application records. Keep the field with the history you need. If both fields hold records you want to keep, contact support@farmqa.com before you start.

Delete the field you're not keeping

Follow Delete a field, including deleting its master boundary, so the old boundary doesn't stay on the map.

Expand the field you're keeping

1. On the Home map, select the field you're keeping.
2. In the field pane, select More (…), then Edit.
3. Use the drawing tools to extend the boundary over the area of the deleted field. See Edit a field boundary for how to move and add points.
4. Select Save.
