Make sure that your device can properly run the FarmQA mobile app by referring to the device requirements section below. Once you've downloaded the FarmQA mobile app, check out the instructions below to make sure that your device is properly setup to run the app while scouting.

Device setup for using the FarmQA app on Android
iOS (Apple)
- iOS version 14.0 and newer
- Minimum of 2 GB of RAM (4 GB is recommended)

Android
- Android OS 8.1 (Oreo) or newer
- Minimum of 2 GB of RAM (4 GB is recommended)

Device setup for using the FarmQA mobile app in iPhone
Make sure you setup your mobile device so the FarmQA mobile app has access to your camera and location to maximize the functionality you can access from the app. Below are the instructions for configuring the recommended settings on your mobile device that runs iOS:
- In your iOS device, go to Settings by clicking on the Settings icon or searching for it in your search bar.
- Scroll down to FarmQA, then make sure that the Camera option is toggled on (pictured below).
- Make sure that your location services are also setup properly by clicking on Location and selecting the While Using the App button (pictured below).
- Click on Privacy & Security, then scroll down to Camera.
- In the Camera privacy & security page, make sure that the switch next to FarmQA has been toggled on (pictured below).
Device setup for using the FarmQA app on Android
- In your Android device, clicks on Settings, then go to Apps > App info, and scroll down until you see FarmQA (pictured below).
- In the FarmQA App info page, click on Permissions, then for both Camera and Location set the permission to Only while app is in use (pictured below).
