Set a custom field acreage

Override a field's acreage when the boundary doesn't reflect what you actually farmed — drowned-out areas or unplanted acres, for example. FarmQA calculates acreage from the field boundary by default. A custom value replaces it in the field list and on scouting reports, and in application and yield calculations.

A custom acreage applies to the selected growing season only. In other seasons, the field uses the acreage calculated from its boundary.

Set the acreage in the web app

1. On the Home map, select the field.
2. In the field pane, select Edit field.
3. Enter the acreage in the Area (ac) box.
4. Select Save.

Set the acreage in the mobile app

1. On the Fields tab, select the field.
2. Select Edit field information.
3. Select Edit field shape.
4. Select Area, then enter the acreage in the Set field area window.
5. Select OK.
6. Select the check button to save your changes.
