Use your growing season configuration to color fields by sampling status on the map. Fields that still need work show in one color; fields you've already sampled show in another — no need to open each field to check.
This requires two crops in your growing season: one for fields not yet sampled and one for completed fields. When you mark a field as sampled, you reassign it from one crop to the other and the map color updates automatically.
Set up your growing season crops
- Select Settings, then select Growing Seasons.
- Open the growing season you want to configure.
- Add two crops — one to represent fields not yet sampled (for example, Not Sampled) and one for fields that have been sampled (for example, Sampled).
- Select Save.
Assign the starting crop to your fields
Assign the Not Sampled crop to every field you plan to sample this season. As you complete sampling, reassign each field to the Sampled crop. See Mark a field as sampled for the fastest way to do this from the field detail view.
