Rain gauge totals in QA Farmer by FarmQA now refresh through the day and show month to date alongside today's rainfall. In FarmQA web, leaving the field pane with unsaved changes prompts you before anything is dropped.
What's New
FarmQA web
Unsaved changes prompt in the field pane
Editing field properties in Map view and then selecting another field, closing the pane, or navigating away now prompts you to save, discard, or stay. The prompt names the field it applies to, so you know which record is at stake. Edits are no longer dropped without warning when Save sits below the fold on a long property list.
Boundary column labeled
The boundary column reads Boundary on the Fields tab and Season Totals, in the grid header and in the column chooser. Saved column layouts are unaffected.
QA Farmer
Rainfall totals refresh through the day
Today's rainfall updates as the day goes on rather than once overnight, so the number reflects rain that has already fallen.
Today and month to date on the rainfall tiles
The rainfall tiles show today's total and the month-to-date total together.
More reliable rainfall for your gauge location
Rainfall comes from modeled conditions for your gauge's location rather than the nearest reporting station, so a distant or misreporting station no longer skews the total.
Bug Fixes
Web
- The Soil Import Profile dialog lists every column header in your file, so each one can be mapped to a soil property. This applies to CSV and shapefile imports.
- The Agvise lab submittal sheet includes the sample IDs and sample data for a completed task.
- Sampling data appears on the sampling point markers on the map, so you can tell which point holds which data.
- The map loads the correct field at full size when you create sampling tasks in a batch and Go to field works on that screen.
Mobile
- Selecting the X on a date picker closes only the picker. Your unsaved water event, application record, or rescout date stays intact.
