Overview
Within FarmQA scouting a user can mark the location of a field entrance either when creating a field, or to an existing field. The benefit of doing this is to 1) see the location of the entrance within the app and 2) automatically navigate to the entrance location using a phones built in navigation. See the instructions below on how this can be done.
Adding a field entrance to an existing field
- Login to FarmQA Scouting
- Click on the field you would like to add an entrance too, either on the map or list tab.
- On the field details pane click on the entrance icon in the bottom right-hand corner (see below)
- Finally click within the field where the entrance should be added
- NOTE- the entrance can be updated by clicking on the entrance icon again and clicking a new location.
- Additionally a user can navigate or remove the entrance by clicking the green entrance icon within the field (see below).
Adding a field entrance to a new field
- Login to FarmQA Scouting
- Click on the blue plus button in the bottom right-hand corner and click "field"
- Follow these instructions to create a field, then click the field entrance icon in the top menu bar (see below).
- Finally, click within the field where the entrance is located. Click "add field" to complete
- NOTE- Adding field entrances can be done by Enterprise admins only.
