If you're unable to access some of your data in the FarmQA mobile app, like if you're missing field boundaries or can't access your map layers, the problem might be as simple as your mobile app not being synced up. Below, you'll find step-by-step instructions to learn how to sync your mobile app as well as tweak the settings for syncing your map layers to your mobile app.

What to do if you still can't see your data

- Log in to your FarmQA account from the mobile app.
- Click on the Settings tab in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- In the slide-out pane the user can click the Sync Now button. It may take a minute for the app to sync up.

- Log in to your FarmQA account from the mobile app.
- Click on the Settings tab in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- Click on Layer sync preferences . Access the following options on this page (pictured below):
- Toggle on the Download data layer images on WiFi only option. We recommend doing this to conserve your mobile data.
- Use the Days to sync box to enter the number of days you want your time-based map layers to sync back to. This will not affect your Permanent or Growing season-based map layers.
- Check the boxes next to the Layers to sync. You can sync more than one layer at a time.
- Scroll down to the Farms/organization to sync section to select the levels of your organization you want these layers to sync up for. Syncing map layers for all your fields will likely take some time.
What to do if you still can't see your data
If you're still unable to see your data after you've synced your app, there are a few other things that might be causing your issue. Try looking into the following:
- The map layer you're looking for hasn't been created: Creating a map layer
- Data hasn't been added to the map layer in the field you're looking at: Adding data to a map layer
